Description:
The Warden is one of the actors of the Prisoner's Problem, a clasic problem in cryptography introduced by Gustav Simmons. In the problem, Alice and Bob are arrested and locked in widely separated cells. Their only means of communication is through messages exchanged via the warden. The warden suspects that the prisoners want to coordinate an escape plan so he checks every message that Alice and Bob exchange for suspicious activity. Alice and Bob, who are quite smart, create a subliminal channel that allows them to exchange information using messages that look innocuous to the warden. Obviously, the story ends with Alice and Bob escaping and living happily ever after.
Suitable for:
Cryptographers, PhDs, mathematicians and security experts.
